Assignments:

• Participate as a member of the engagement team to expertly apply all the discrete elements of Blue Canyon’s methodology, including data base development, modeling, quantitative research, secondary research, and conducting primary research
• Bring technical and analytical excellence to develop market assessments, evaluate the economics of the business environment, synthesize the messages from the market, and analyze findings
• Show professional presence in external settings and bring solid insights from previous work experience or academic training
• Cultivate a solid working relationship with the various working members of the client team
• Support senior members with special projects as required

Qualifications:
Candidates must be located in the Chicago area and should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in economics, business, or another discipline with a strong analytic orientation, and 3-5 years of professional experience. Experience in the consulting industry or within the business-to-business sector is a strong plus. Strength in writing and report preparation, and good interpersonal skills are essential. Brings excellent organizational skills to the team, and takes responsibility for organizing key project activities. Must be attuned to deliverables, deadlines, and expectations with respect to quality, and works according to these demands.

Assignments:

• Perform key roles on one or more engagements at a time to deploy all phases of Blue Canyon’s methodology, from data modeling and qualitative information gathering to synthesizing information and developing strategic recommendations
• Can address unstructured problems with creative frameworks and approaches, define the structure and research requirements, and identify the techniques and tools to expedite the research
• Establish a significant, high visibility presence with the client organization, foster solid working relationships with the client, and bring strong content to engagements in order to help clients gain insights and approve project recommendations
• Build a network within client companies, and supports others in Blue Canyon to bring value to the client relationship
• Develop expertise and thought leadership in areas of importance to client project teams
• Mentor junior members of the Blue Canyon team on the elements of the firm’s methodology

Qualifications:
Candidates must be located in the Chicago area and should have a MBA or other appropriate advanced degree, and 4 years of professional experience with a consulting firm. Possess strong project management skills and significant subject matter expertise in areas relevant to Blue Canyon and its clients. Strong writing abilities and good interpersonal skills are essential. Must be attuned to deliverables, deadlines, and expectations with respect to quality, and works according to these demands.

Assignments:

• Lead one or more engagements at a time and play a key role in defining the requirements and developing the engagement assignments
• Based on previous experience, brings creativity in developing engagement plans, and showcase expertise in translating patterns seen in other environments into project-related insights
• Build a team to leverage the skills, talents, and time of all Blue Canyon engagement participants
• On a day-to-day basis, manage issues and challenges throughout the engagement, ensure the effective integration of the project elements—that the conclusions are correct and actionable, the project is completed on schedule and within budget, and the recommendations are embraced and ready for implementation
• Ensure a positive working relationship with the client team, identify follow-up assignments that will bring value to the client, and provide support to the senior members of the Blue Canyon team that manage the overall client relationship
• Develop thought leadership through publications and presentations
• Participate in key external forums and cultivate networks to generate continued interest in Blue Canyon, and employ business development skills under the mentorship of senior members of the Blue Canyon team
• Responsible for developing and training junior members of the Blue Canyon team

Qualifications:
Candidates must be located in the Chicago area and should have a MBA or other appropriate advanced degree, and 6 years of professional experience with a consulting firm. Possess strong client relationship management and project management skills and significant subject matter expertise in areas relevant to Blue Canyon and its clients. Able to deliver value to clients, understands the appropriate responses to their questions, and contributes actively to helping to translate strategy into action plans.

Assignments:

• With support from the senior-most leaders at Blue Canyon, develop new business with existing clients and new prospects, consistent with the company’s goals with respect to scale and growth in his or her area of responsibility
• Has a lead role in developing the relationship with one or more clients by developing engagement concepts that address a client’s most significant growth challenges
• Build engagement plans and provide overall direction to multiple engagement teams to deliver high quality deliverables, while counseling clients throughout the project
• Responsible for client satisfaction, ensuring that value is delivered
• Proactively develop thought leadership to help clients stay ahead of problems and realize opportunities, and contribute to the formulation of new approaches and methodologies
• Bring personal judgment, relationship skills, and creative thinking to client discussions
• Embrace Blue Canyon’s values and helps ensure that the firm continuously realizes its goals and meets its mission

Has the ability to address complex, unstructured problems, and actively contributes to thought leadership themes in areas relevant to Blue Canyon and its clients.
